"The Nordic Inn is home away from home. Fantastic accommodation, amazing friendly, knowledgeable people. The sitting area (living room) with the fireplace is the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine or the always available home baked cookies. The Inn is a 5 minute walk to the base of the ski hill and the free express bus into town. We can hardly wait to visit again next year. Thank you so very much for your hospitality."

Gem of a lodge a Mt Crested Butte!

"This was our first time in Crested Butte and we were lucky enough to stay at the Nordic Inn. The staff is friendly and very helpful, taking time to give us dinner recommendations based on our interests.  The common room/lobby is a great place to hang out.  A roaring fire and plenty of books and boardgames gave us a resting place between skiing and dinner. They also stock fresh baked cookies all day!  Our room was clean and comfortable and surprisingly quiet.  Another plus is the location. Right next to the slopes.  We are coming back in the summer with kids and plan to stay at the Nordic Inn again."

A sweet spot!

"Super great stay at this cozy and comfortable Inn a short walk away from the slopes at Crested Butte. The management makes guests welcome. Parked in their lot the day we checked in so we could ski. The room was ready for us at 10 am!! And they are pet friendly. Not to overlook the rooms are well maintained and up to date. Looking forward to a return visit."

Cozy Mountain Retreat

"We stayed and skied for a week and it started to feel like home. Perfect location. Close enough to walk to the lifts, yet just outside of holiday congestion. The Mountain Suite was perfect for our family of five with available adjoining room for grandparents to feel just close enough. Relaxing fireside lobby/den. Friendly inviting staff with excellent knowledge of the area and great recommendations for evening dinners down in town. We will be back!"

Excellent place to get away

"Staff was very friendly and helpful during the entire stay. Located very close to the mountain and ski lift which was very convenient. Dog friendly hotel, saw multiple happy dogs there during our stay. Clean and cozy environment. Rooms were very nice. They had a fireplace and games in the lobby. Fresh cookies every afternoon/evening."

Perfect location, friendly owners

"My friend and I booked The Nordic Inn for a guys ski weekend in Crested Butte. Both of us had never been there before and after our stay, we will definitely be back! Once we arrived, the owners greeted us and showed us around the property. Due to the extreme snowfall over the past week, they went out of their way to make sure we were aware of parts of the roof where the snow hadn't fallen yet and to be cautious. The rooms were perfect, recently updated, but simple and stylish to still keep the rustic feeling of the hotel. Breakfast was fine, enough to fill us up for the morning. The location was perfect. It's only a few hundred yards away from the ski slopes and same distance to the shuttle to downtown. We enjoyed talking to the owners and their hospitality. They even let us use their event room downstairs to watch the football game! It's always nice to soak in the hot tub after a day of skiing too. For a true laidback Colorado ski town, this place was a perfect fit experience Crested Butte."

10 Stars!! Absolutely Wonderful!

"We stayed with our 2 dogs for several nights, the owners are really great and truly care about their guests. I wish everywhere we traveled had a place as special the Nordic Inn!! Breakfast buffet was perfect, our king size bed provided a heavenly night sleep and service was impeccable. Outside of a backcountry tent, we will never stay anywhere else but the Nordic Inn!"

Quick walk to the lifts!

"So charming and convenient. We loved it. Close to the transportation center to catch shuttles into town. The gals who run it are super friendly and the hot tub rocks! And free cookies in the jar when you come back after a ski day or night on the town."

"Seriously! The best stay in the Butte!! The entire staff is awesome at recommending everything from the best tree lines on the mountain too the heartiest grub in town! Between the hot crackling fire in the lobby and cozy (in your cabin) type lodge rooms it was the best accommodations I could have asked for!!!"

Epic Powder Adventure

"The Nordic Inn feels like a welcomed step back in time of the world of ski lodges. When we first entered the lobby (lodge) our adult children expected to see Bing Crosby singing White Christmas because it has a vibe like the lodge featured in the original movie. The lobby has the feel of a Swiss Chalet complete with rustic mountain furnishings, crackling fire and excellent hospitality. We stayed in the beautifully appointed suite with a kithcenette which provided plenty of room for our 5 family members. Our beds and other furnishings were very comfortable especially after a day of skiing 15"-20" of fresh powder. Each of the staff members we encountered were very curtious and displayed a genuine interest in making sure our stay was first class. This facility doesn't have all of the high end amenities that might be offered in more modern hotel. But that is the beauty of it. Located within walking distance of the chair lift, it is the perfect place to spend some quality time with friends and family. We stayed at the Nordic Inn in the summer and the experience was equally enjoyable."

Great place to Stay

"We just spent six days at the Nordic Inn and it was heavenly. We were visiting our son and hiking the amazing trails around CB. The Inn owners and staff were so friendly and accommodating and the rooms have been nicely updated and are very comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable, the breakfast was just right, and the fresh-baked cookies a nice touch after a long hike. We will definitely return!"

Just Like home!

"We loved our two-day stay at the Nordic Inn. We were met at check-in with chocolate chip cookies and a staff that is warm and welcoming! Our rooms were beautifully renovated and the breakfast of various breakfast breads and toasts, hard boiled eggs, and assorted cereals and yogurts were all delightful. This is a gem on the mountain!"

Home Away From Home! 

"We own a house in Crested Butte but could not stay there because our son was getting engaged and he wanted her parents and us to surprise his fiancee after he popped the question. This Inn was in an ideal location, very quaint and cozy, the staff was incredible and even wanted to see all the pictures and details the next morning! As we left, I suggested to my husband that we sell our house and stay at the Nordic Inn every time we come to Crested Butte. No-one makes my bed and has hot coffee and breakfast out for me in the morning at our house! Oh, and there were fresh cookies out on the lobby when we got there!"

Friendly, cozy, and very comfortable at the base of the mountain

"Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable, spacey rooms, and great easy location to get to and from the lifts with a five minute walk at most. If you don't want to stay in a big lodge at the base, but prefer a cozy, family style place with a warm, friendly atmosphere, this is a fantastic choice. Nice breakfast, good hot tub as well."
