Welcome to the Crested Butte Nordic Inn, a relaxing mountain retreat where you are treated like family!
The Nordic Inn is the longest operating lodge in Gunnison county and is the first and only remaining hotel in Mt. Crested Butte from the first year the ski area opened in 1963. This quaint little Crested Butte lodge was beautifully renovated only a few years ago, and the owners kept the charm of the original hotel while adding touches of luxury.
The Summit Residence, on the property adjacent from the Nordic, is a luxurious home, which consists of 10 beautifully appointed mountain suites, some of which have private balconies and hot tubs over looking the surrounding mountains is also an option. Singular lock-off rooms are available or for large parties, the house can be rented out as a whole!

What Sets Us Apart
At an elevation of 9,898, the Nordic is just steps away from the base of Crested Butte Mountain Resort and only a short ride to the down of Crested Butte below.
We invite you to begin each morning in the warmth of the Breakfast Room with a wholesome continental breakfast to start your mountain adventure. After a day of adventuring, we welcome you back to a roaring fire in the Inn’s Great Room where you can relax, eat cookies and socialize, play games, or just take in the amazing views of Mt. Crested Butte.
Some of the best vacation memories are simply sitting in front of a fire place at the end of the day, having a glass of your favorite adult beverage and talking about exploring together.
If you're staying at the Nordic Inn, there's no need to jet off to the local brew room to have a night cap! We have recently installed two Wineemotion™ wine dispensers (one for white and one for red), a liquor dispenser and a beer fridge.
Our dispensers take a customer pre-paid card which guests can obtain at check-in. This feature allows guests to choose and pour their own wine and liquor as they please. Can't decide which wine is right for you? Try a tasting! Smaller volume pours are also available, so you can find the perfect wine for you!
Snacks and small bites are available for purchase in the breakfast room. We welcome you to enjoy your vacation to the fullest, but please drink responsibly.
