POWERADE PINNACLE MOUNTAIN BIKE SERIES

​

This mountain bike race series encourages competitors to ride the Downhill bike park trails during twilight. Created in 1998 by Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR), the popular race series is geared for fun and competition, from beginner to expert riders. The races consist of varying lengths and difficulty to challenge riders of all abilities in either Enduro or Downhill disciplines. Competitors enjoy a post-ride awards party after each race with a cold LandShark Lager or Coca-Cola, and awesome prizes at Butte 66. Downhill competitors also receive a complimentary twilight ticket for that day. Races take place on Wednesday evenings at 5:45 p.m. Registration is $10 per race and will be held at the CBMR Rental Shop from 4 PM until 5:15 PM. Pump Track lap races geared towards ages 6 and under will also be held at 5:15 p.m. at the pump track in the Base Area.

Crested Butte Mountain Resort's FREE Wednesday night summer concert series, in the base area. Join us for great tunes, a laid back atmosphere and the beautiful backdrop of Mt. Crested Butte in all its summer glory. 21+ guests can purchase alcoholic beverages, and there's plenty of room for kiddos to play, so bring your lawn chairs or picnic blankets and gather around for mid-week music!

The annual Gothic to Crested Butte 1/3rd Marathon is an event benefiting The Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory. The run begins in Gothic, 8.56 miles north of Crested Butte, Colorado.

Local artist Zach Bauer specializes in plain air watercolor and illustration via pen and ink drawings. On this tour Zach will lead you to select historic buildings and instruct on how to best capture the building through paint or drawing.
