Alpenglow Gallery, located in the Lodge at Mountaineer Square, is proud to feature local artists in varying media. The gallery features art that reflects the landscape, culture and creativity unique to Crested Butte in media that includes photography, painting, metal sculpture, ceramics, mixed media and weaving. The quarterly art installations present guests and visitors with the opportunity to view art from a variety of Gunnison Valley's most talented artists. Located in the Lodge in Mountaineer Square between the Trackers Bar and the Ballroom, the gallery is open all day, every day and the art is available for purchase at any time.

The Art Studio at The Trailhead Children's Museum

Newly renovated in 2016 the Trailhead Children’s Museum’s Art Bar is a self-service studio space that allows you and your family to create and explore a variety of mediums, from collage and mixed media, to markers, colored pencils, pastels and crayons. The Studio space is designed to inspire artists young and old. In addition to the staples of any art space you never know what you may find in the rotation of inspirations set out by their Art Instructor, from creating your own Pollock piece to designing a mandala with loose parts. There are always easels with large paper and paints, ready for you to create! The mess table is a favorite of all visitors who love to discover the unexpected. Stop in during your visit to see what’s new!

The Oh-Be-Joyful Gallery specializes in high caliber realist landscape paintings.  Crested Butte and Telluride, arguably two of the most beautiful mountain playgrounds in the US, offer a natural landscape market.  The gallery seeks to present the beauty of the earth’s landscape captured by the most diligent painting effort, and represents a small number of the finest landscape painters in early and mid career working today.

 

The Oh-Be-Joyful Gallery, while seeking to sell the finest landscape paintings strives to maintain approachability to everybody, as befits the character of Crested Butte and Telluride.  All eyes are welcome here and they hope you will consider us as a source if you are ever in the position to buy quality original landscape paintings. You are welcome to come look at their offering of paintings at length until then.

 

The Oh-Be-Joyful Gallery was named after an exquisite valley near Crested Butte, a place of waterfalls and profound alpine topography.

The Paragon Gallery is a co-op made up of 14 local artists who also donate their time for special community events including a Community Art Show, People's Fair and other community fund raisers. Every artist also gifts 1% of their sales to the Crested Butte Land Trust. Stop by and browse paintings, cards, pottery, jewelry and much more unique art.

The Rijks' gallery holds a wealth of creativity: watercolor, oil, mixed media, ceramics, photography, woodwork and weaving. From affordable gifts, posters and prints to collection-worthy originals, the gallery's artists (who are primarily from Crested Butte and the mountain West) take inspiration from their sense of place. Stop by and you will see how the gallery walls and shelves speak evocatively of the mountains.

Creekside Pottery is renowned for its unique, creative, and original pottery. The workshop/gallery features functional and decorative pieces to complement Southwest, country, and contemporary decor. Styles include traditional stoneware, Raku, and exciting new Mica Horsehair pottery. Located one block west of the 4-way stop just north of Elk Ave. in downtown Crested Butte. Visitors are welcome to observe the creative process or join in workshops to create a pottery piece of their own. Creekside Pottery works are also available at the Crested Butte General Store in the Treasury Center, Mt. Crested Butte.
